I just added a post to my blog about a FT article on their latest FT/Harris poll my post is Figures never lie but liars always figure at http://robboyce.com/blog/2007/07/23/figures-never-lie-but-liars-always-figure/
Their article is at http://www.ft.com/cms/s/2a735dd0-3873-11dc-bca9-0000779fd2ac.html
Short and sweet - the author states that a majority of the US respondents want exec pay capped while the chart in the story - the only “data” provided - indicates that roughly one third did and nearly half said no.
He also states similarly that a majority of the US respondents want higher taxes on the “rich” but he offers not even a chart to back that up nor any indication as to what the definition of “rich” might be.
I just posted http://robboyce.com/blog/2007/12/18/huckabee-floating-cross/ about Drudge posting Mike Huckabee’s Christmas Card YouTube with the headline about the Floating cross. Guess “Mike says Jesus” wouldn’t generate enough hits!
Hi Rob - I totally agree on the spin. I would normally post the article, but we are trying to steer clear of endorsing one candidate over another… Good point though.
