Mark Fuhrman Radio Show Axed by KGA1510

A blow against the right of a free people to be informed/educated by a free press. The Mark Fuhrman Radio Show was axed this morning by KGA1510 in Spokane, WA. Fuhrman’s Show was MIA this morning without notice.

This may be a further move by the River Park Square developers that also own and control 80% of the media in Spokane including the Spokesman-Review to cover their tracks in a complex white collar fraud. Allegedly in this fraud, millions of dollars were sucked from the pockets of the citizens of Spokane by their political and appointed government officials complicit in this fraud.

The Mark Fuhrman Show was the only local media seriously talking about the ongoing River Park Square fraud (Upwards of $100M) where the citizens of Spokane are paying $2.5M per year. In the mayoral election that just concluded Mary Verner won over the incumbent Dennis Hession. Hession would not distance himself from a campaign loan of $10K from local attorney Mike Ormsby potentially the most culpable in the RPS fraud in which there is a federal investigation underway. Verner committed to bringing back Seattle Atty O. Yale Lewis to unravel the RPS fraud who was fired by former Mayor Powers who brought in attorney Laurel Siddoway (See references below).

Mark Fuhrman who had previously supported Mayor Hession put Hession on the hot seat re this loan. The Mayor would only say that Mike Ormsby was a close personal friend. The Spokesman-Review, the local paper of record owned by the developer of RPS, in it’s initial coverage gave the Ormsby loan a pass without context while giving context re a loan from Avista (Power Company) and a cell tower locating firm to the Hession Campaign. See the S-R articles here. It wasn’t until several days before the end of this mailed election did the S-R run a follow-up story re the significance of the Ormsby loan. The Fuhrman Show may have been the deciding factor in this election. There is no secret the RPS developers were backing Mayor Hession’s campaign.

It was also on the Mark Fuhrman Show that the sitting US Attorney Jim McDevitt for the Eastern Washington Federal Judicial District appeared to defend himself from serious charges alleged the previous week by Larry Shook of Camas Magazine re his past involvement in the RPS fraud. McDevitt said he had not received any “credible” case for review. He then committed if someone brought him a “credible” case he would recuse himself and send it to the Atty General in DC for reassignment. I wrote a letter to the S-R’s OP-ED page expressing my concerns re that maybe McDevitt was the real reason why no federal criminal investigation had gained any traction.

Tim Connor of Camas Magazine and Cherie Rodgers former Spokane City Council member, took McDevitt up on McDevitt’s offer and delivered a multi-count complaint to McDevitt. McDevitt has since recused himself and the case was sent to DC. Sources have indicated the case has been re-assigned to the US Attorney’s Office for the Western District of WA (Seattle, WA) for investigation. The Mark Fuhrman Show was MIA this morning on KGA1510. No mention on the air. I called the station and confirmed that the show was no longer on the station. Shades of KXLY TV reporter Tom Grant all over again re the RPS fraud (See reference below). Grant’s voice was silenced at KXLY. Coincidently, special city bond counsel Laurel Siddoway was the atty for this TV station (See reference below). Fuhrman also left KXLY radio at the same time re coverage of the local Catholic Diocese cover up of allegations of sexual molestations. Grant moved to the local FOX TV affiliate. Tom Grant was again silenced there when the RPS developers “bought” the FOX station. Fuhrman went to KGA1510, a Citidal outlet. KGA and other Citidal stations have been sold.

KGA1510, the host of the Mark Fuhrman Show, was purchased by Mapleton Communications; a LLC which is owned in part by Mapleton Investments (a firm owned by the principal of Falcon Cable TV). This sale just became final in the last several weeks. There is no known relationship between Mapleton Communications and the RPS Developer yet. This move is very transparent and “old school.” The RPS developers just purchased three TV outlets in California for $41M in cash. Attempted control of info/news of the day will not work in this age of the new media.

The people of Spokane clearly expressed their voice in the mayoral election with the choice of Verner over Hession. The question is now will Verner have the guts to bring in O. Yale Lewis to “clean up” this ongoing criminal conspiracy and make the citizens of Spokane whole again.

For further info/docs re the level of systemic political/governmental corruption in Spokane, one need only read the joint investigative work of national award winning reporters Tim Conner and Larry Shook at www.camasmagazine.com. Shook has a soon to be published riveting book on this fraud: “The Girl from Hotsprings.” This is all about “Death by Parking” and the death of Ms. Jo Savage in the RPS Parking Garagre due to a well documented structural failure that there was no motivation or incentive to fix or mitigate. IMHO based on my training, education, and professional experience the death of Ms. Savage should be thoroughly investigated as a negligent homicide - manslaughter. The owners had a duty and responsibility to act that they failed to do over some 15 years with multiple warnings of such a failure.

Trust me one does not want to P/O a cop especially one that has the close ear of Gretta on FOX NEWS.

‘Fuhrman Show’ canceled

One of Spokane’s few talk-radio programs, “The Mark Fuhrman Show” on KGA-AM (1510), is off the air as of today.

Fuhrman and Rebecca Mack, the co-host and producer, said they were dismissed by station management yesterday. A California radio conglomerate, Mapleton Communications, is in the process of purchasing KGA-AM from Citadel Broadcasting Corp.

“They said our show just wasn’t part of the buy,” Fuhrman said. “Obviously, it became a condition of the sale.”

Mack said management cited the show’s “failure to monetize” – i.e., make enough money – as one reason for the decision.

A call to KGA-AM’s general manager has not yet been returned.

“If it was money, we’re not knocking down Fort Knox when our checks are paid,” Fuhrman said.

Mack said that live local programming can be expensive when compared to the alternative: running national syndicated shows.

Fuhrman said the show was No. 3 in the Arbitron ratings for talk shows in the market among its target audience of men, because it was up against national hosts Rush Limbaugh and Dennis Miller.

Fuhrman said his show was essentially the only talk show in Spokane that “hit hard on the issues.”

“I think it’s very regrettable to the community,” Mack said. “Hate us or love us, we tried to keep the pot stirred and keep the community informed and engaged.”

Fuhrman, the former Los Angeles police detective known for his role in the O.J. Simpson case, began his talk show in 1999 on KXLY-AM. The show was canceled in 2004 and was picked up within days by KGA-AM.
