Crossing the Line from Misconstruing Context to Slander and Libel…
Oct 5th, 2007 by Terresa Monroe-Hamilton
For days I have watched the laughable attacks on Rush Limbaugh. I am an avid listener of his radio show and I have never known anyone more devoted to our troops or more supportive of them. His words were totally misconstrued and taken out of context. To read the transcript of his show in question, click here.
Senator Harry Reid however, has repeatedly claimed how we have lost the war (a blatant lie) and now is attacking conservative radio show hosts such as Rush Limbaugh in an effort to shut them up. The liberal left does not seem to be able to get anyone’s attention with shows such as Air America, and out of obvious frustration they take their leading talking heads who are goaded into throwing insults, and proceed to pitch libel and slander at those who do not agree with them. Mr. Limbaugh’s words were twisted and the attempt at using them to propagate an agenda to stop the war and silence the right is the lowest of dirty pool tricks.
Thanks to a tip from Kathy T, I learned that ads were being run on Fox News Prime Time by VoteVets.org smearing Rush Limbaugh and attributing things to him that he didn’t say. Here is what Kathy said:
Tonight is the 3rd night in a row that I have seen a commercial on FOX PRIME TIME (during the Special Report with Brit Hume Between 6 and 7pm Central) where a military vet (Brian) against the war in Iraq tells his opinion and then lambastes Rush Limbaugh for his remarks about the *phoney soldiers.* Has this guy even read the transcript of that show? Can he read?
The website in the top right of the screen says “votevets.org”
However when I attempted to go to this website, this is the message I received: Template File Not Found! Looking for template:votevets2
Here is what I found on Youtube:

Here is what else I have found:

Who is funding this group? Can you find out?
…thanks (and sorry if this has already been dealt with)
We would like to know as well. The first place I looked was the Way Back Machine -

This shows old snapshots of the site before it went away…
Here is their last known Board and Advisors:
And although I can’t say they are connected to Wes Clark with any certainty:
Interesting… Very interesting… Below you will find the duplicitous YouTube video for VoteVets.org.

Crush Rush: Now they want to censure him?
It is fascinating to watch the left grasp at straws. There are no teeth to their accusations and no doubt Harry Reid would never meet face to face with Rush. Media Mythbusters would love to drag the people who are funding these ads and supporting these smears into the light of day. If you have any information on this subject or other media malpractice, please feel free to send it to us. Truth thru transparency…
