In Remembrance of 9-11… 7 Years Feels Like Yesterday…
Sep 11th, 2008 by Terresa Monroe-Hamilton
Today is a very somber day for me. 9-11 is still fresh in my memory as is the comforting of a friend that lost several family members that day and the loss of one business associate. We won’t forget - we can’t forget… And while I have been watching the tributes today, especially the President who has helped a nation to regroup and move on, I run low on words and cannot seem to focus. My one prayer is that we prevail over the terrorists who still intend us harm and death and that we can reunite as a country to fight our common enemy. My prayers and thoughts are with all Americans today, but especially with those who lost loved ones on that horrific day that took more in life than Pearl Harbor. Made all the worse since they were Americans who were just going about their normal lives… May G-d bless and watch over America.
