The Cowles Clan, Spokane, WA - Media Manipulation

This lead comes from Rocket’s Brain Trust and I should have just posted this sometime ago. There will be an entry on the wiki dedicated to the antics of the Cowles in the Spokane area - especially since I am moving up that way… This is power mongering and media manipulation at its worst - visit the link below and read up on their history. The Spokeman-Review/Cowles clan story is a long and complex story. Since the Cowles clan are founding members of the AP board, not much news gets out of town.

The latest go around is the $10K loan to Mayor Hession’s campaign by one of the attorneys most culpable in the RPS fraud and has a good possibility of being indicted should the feds decide to press charges. Hession, who spoke on the Mark Fuhrman Show, tried to explain this away as nothing really significant. He said that Mike Ormsby (the attorney) is a close personal friend. It has been alleged that others were fronting money to Hession. The alleged pay back is that Hession won’t make any waves to encourage the feds to do their job. After all he has some complicity in voting in favor of the bailout deal that was in essence a second fraud compounded on the first.
MMB will attempt to spread the word and to focus attention on my new, little corner of the world. The Cowles family is collectively worth approximately $5B. The Cowles’ family matriarch is now married to the patriarch of the family that owns the NYT. They travel back and forth between NY and Spokane.
You should read Rocket’s Brain Trust’s piece re the Spokane Valley being the “new” Chinatown re development and sewer issues and the Rathdrum Aquifer. Mind you the family reportedly controls over one thousand acres in the Valley.
As I get time, I will do an outline with links to articles. Stay tuned bat fans - this project will begin this weekend. Just figured I would christen my new sandbox up north - they’ll love me.

I found some time back information concerning an internal affairs investigation of one of Spokane’s abusive police officers, internal affairs found enough material to have him fired.
He came back years later and applied for another position.. this one.. he was hired with a demotion.. to the rank of detective.. but the pay scale promoted above his demoted rank scale.. up to 19 thousand or more dollars per year income. I can not find this information now.. like it disappeared and hoped you may be able to lead me to a address URL where I may brush up on my information. please help..?
